2BV 系列液环真空泵适用于抽气和蒸汽。其吸入压力可达 33mbar （abs）（即 97% 真空度）。如果使用变压器油作为工作液，这些泵称为油环真空泵，吸入压力可达 6.7mbar （abs）（即 99% 真空度）。所以油环真空泵可以完全取代往复式真空泵。当液环真空泵在接近有限真空的条件下长时间工作时，需要与气蚀保护管耦合，以消除尖叫声，保护泵。
压缩机工作时，最大压力为 0.26MPa （abs）。排气压力越高，压缩机的功率就越大。因此，有必要提供排放压力的数据以选择合适的电机。
