VBShv cables meet the requirements of GOST 16442-80. The design of the VBShv series cable contains a conductive core made of copper wire, which has a sector or round shape. If the cross-section of the cable is 16 square millimeters and above, it contains a multi-wire conductor consisting of a twisted pair of conductors, or even three or four. PVC plastic insulates the wire strands from each other, but they are placed in a common PVC sheath, resistant to light and heat. The distinctive coloring of VBShv multicore cables helps to distinguish between conductors, two-color yellow-green conductors and blue zero conductors, as a rule, are grounded at the end. In addition to the upper armor coating, the belt insulation made of the same extruded PVC compound is, in essence, the very sheath of the cable of this series. If the cable has round conductors, PVC insulation simply fills in the voids between the passing conductors. The uppermost cover is provided with two spiral galvanized strips and an outer PVC plastic sheath that forms a cable-tight hose. VBShv cables are designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary electrical installations for a rated alternating voltage of 0.66, 1 and 3 kV, with a rated frequency of 50 Hz. VBShv can be used both indoors and outdoors, used in tunnels, mines, canals, underground. At the same time, the cable is laid in places where various mechanical damages are possible with the absence of tensile forces when using the model.
