Sbiten is an old East Slavic drink based on honey, spices and herbs. It is important to note that sbiten is a non-alcoholic drink. Contains no artificial colors or preservatives. Alcohol-free. The medicinal properties of sbitn are due to the ingredients that make up it, including the type of honey used. The spectrum of action is quite wide: from disease prevention to therapeutic action in the form of auxiliary (additional) therapy. In different formulations, it can be used as a tonic or, conversely, to achieve a sedative and calming effect. It is used in food, as a topping for ice cream, an additive to tea.
