A four-axle dump car UVS-22 (dump car) with a carrying capacity of 22 tons is designed to transport ore and overburden with unloading into receiving bins or dumps on railways with a gauge of 750-760 mm. The structure is designed for loading individual lumps weighing up to 2 tons for preliminary filling from small fractions of cargo. According to climatic conditions, it is manufactured in version U in accordance with GOST 15150-69. The dumpcar is an all-metal self-unloading car of a welded structure, consisting of a lower frame, a tilting body, unloading devices and chassis, auto brake and coupling equipment. Unloading is performed by tilting the body at an angle of 45 ° using pneumatic cylinders (one on each side), which are driven by compressed air directly from the locomotive or stationary compressor unit. When the body is tilted, the board leans towards the unloading side and serves as a continuation of the floor. Board opening mechanism – lever type. The body is set to the train position after unloading by its own weight. The dump car is equipped with an automatic pneumatic brake and a hand parking brake.
