Execution: generator The generator is designed to operate as part of the test bench equipment. The generator is installed on the gearbox housing and is connected to the stand load unit and, during the tests, provides the load of the tested product according to the specified program. The generator is a synchronous electric machine excited by high coercive permanent magnets. The generator is cooled by air. Rotor supports – deep groove ball bearings. Cooling and lubrication of bearing supports is carried out by supplying oil from the stand oil system. Execution: electric motor The electric motor is a synchronous electric machine with excitation from highly coercive permanent magnets. The engine housing is installed on the compressor unit. A centrifugal compressor impeller is installed on the motor shaft. Cooling of the engine – combined (the stator is liquid-cooled, the rotor is gas-cooled). Rotor supports – petal gas-dynamic bearings. The frequency converter provides starting and operation at a given mode of the electric motor. The product is controlled from the operator panel or via a digital communication channel (RS-485 ModBus RTU).
