1. Copper conductive core (number of cores: 1, 2, 3, 3 + 1, 4 and 5 pcs.): – single-wire (class 1) with a cross section of 1.5-50 sq. mm – "stand-by"; – multi-wire (class 2) with a section of 50-240 sq. mm; 2. Insulation made of PVC plastic compound, core marking: – color: white or yellow, blue or green, red or crimson, brown or black, or yellow-green; – digital for cables with a cross section of 70 sq. mm and above: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4; 3. Non-woven fabric winding for multi-core cables with a cross-section of 16 sq. mm and above (production of cables without winding is allowed); 4. PVC sheath. Power cables are designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations for a rated alternating voltage of 0.66 kV and 1.0 kV at a frequency of 50 Hz or for a direct voltage 2.4 times the alternating voltage. Cables are manufactured for operation in areas with moderate, cold and a tropical climate. The cables are intended for operation on land, rivers and lakes at altitudes up to 4300 m above sea level. The VVG cable is used for laying: – in the air if there is no danger of mechanical damage during operation; – for laying in dry or damp rooms (tunnels), channels , cable half-floors, mines, collectors, industrial premises, partially flooded structures in the presence of an environment with low, medium and high corrosive activity; – for laying on special cable racks, on bridges and in blocks; – for laying in fire-hazardous premises; – for laying in explosive zones of class B-Ib, B-Ig, B-II, B-IIa; – cables with copper conductors are used for laying group lighting networks in explosive zones of class B-Ia. Cables are intended for vertical, inclined and horizontal routes. Non-armored cables can be used in places subject to vibration. Cables are flame retardant in single laying (IEC 60332-1 standards). The permissible heating of conductors in emergency mode should not exceed + 80 ° C and the duration of operation in emergency mode should not be more than 8 hours per day, but not more than 1000 hours per service life. The service life of the VVG cable is 30 years.
